2014 Explorer Sport
So about a month ago My wife was in an accident and our 2012 Explorer XLT was totaled. The good new was my wife was only a little sore, and we upgraded to a 2014 Explorer Sport!

So as I was going though the setting menus in the instrument display that there were options missing. I notice that there was no option for the Enhanced Trip Display, so I can't see the gallons used. Also noticed that there there is no courtesy wipe for the rear wiper when in reverse, and no quiet start in the remote start section.

Did Ford actually get rid of some menu options in the 2014's? The Sport is more loaded than the XLT. I just wanted to confirm with other owners of 2014's whether these setting were missing or not.

They did the same thing in Taurus for 2013-->2014. The 13 cluster was better detailed, 14 "dumbed down" by comparison.

Never was sure why.

That sucks. I really liked the detailed trip meters, and the rear courtesy wipe. I also noticed that the climate control was removed from the right screen as well.

My next question would be, does anybody know if those things could be turned back on with Forscan? I have made a few changes with it so I am no stranger to programming with it.

The climate control screen can be restored, I run with it in my '17.

Have you checked your Owner's Manual? Page 130,
Trip 1 & 2
Choose between the standard or enhanced trip display.

As for the 'Quiet Start' feature, it was reintroduced with the 2016 model. Rear Courtesy Wipe as described is gone. I truthfully didn't even realize that until you just mentioned it. Never missed it.

Yea I had checked my manual and it is listed there, but the settings are not there.

I had a lot of help from @jmr061, he might be able to help. I can't remember the ABD.

It might be in the F150 ABD Google Doc floating around her somewhere too, I don't have it handy.

Ok, I think I saw something about it in one of the spreadsheets.
