More from the Section525 Fab Shop

The Ford emblem didn't stay long. :( But, I never thought I'd allow a Taco in my garage. So this is my way of fooling myself. :p

I hear Chicago is nice this time of year. :D

70 and sunny.... but before today its been like 30-40 and cloudy/rainy/miserable. and there is always random days during the winter when it gets between 55-70 and the next day we have a snowstorm. the weather keeps you on your toes... now that i think about it.. maybe i should just move south.

it looks great! I like the design, stinger may be a little much for me but hey its not my truck.
It needs the support the winch tray will add it looks like....

looks awesome except that it doesnt look like the stinger is tall enough to avoid damage to the hood in a roll

Actually, I believe the main purpose of them is to keep you from going on your lid  in the first place. A wheelie bar of sorts when decending something steep

how is that bumper mounted to the toyota frame? im familiar with the toyota frame, and its pretty strong, but its crossmembers leave much to be desired, is it braced with angle iron or something or jsut stright welded to the crossmembers?

It has a solid axle. Custom crossmember. I want to say it's a 2x2 between the frame rails and another 2x2 beneath it going under the frame rails.

Looking back at the pictures I guess it's obvious it has a solid axle, huh? :p

i knew that, i wasnt asking abotu the shackle hangar, but rather the crossmember the top tubes seem to be braced on, the frame is ok in strength, but those stock crossmembers are flimsy......

someone earlier mentioned the hi-steer too....

Well you guys are getting more done than I am so i cant talk crap  :p

I have the fender mounts at the pad tho and the radius arm bracket is in the mail so no more jacked up alignment like this l-\ for me!! Well, until I beat the hell outta it at claypit again  Keep up the good work!

on a short wheelbase vehicle it is, hence why you see them on alot of jeep. the majority of them i see being built are too try and save the radiator in a roll and to use as a sort of ramp up stuff when wheeling
