Dragging around til about 10am, I drive a truck in the Washington dc area, and on the road around 8:30 or so. Probably should find a night driving job, I'm up every night till 2/3am, Love the night time hours!!
I had to vote for needing caffine. Waking up in the morning is all relative to what shift I'm on. I work a rotating shift that changes every 4 weeks. The best shift is our hell shift. It is thurs&fri 8am to 4pm and sat&sun 6pm to 6am
Since I started college, I have been able to wake up much easier. I wake up at 8:30 or so for a class at 9:30 every day. I haven't even needed an alrm clock. But when I'm not at school and working, I have to be in 8am, which requires several alarm clocks and I'm usually not ready to actually do work until 8:30
Drinking coffee shortly after waking up, as it turns out, is actually a bit counterproductive. Not only does it undermine the caffeine's effect, but it tends to lead people to build a tolerance for the drug, thereby diminishing its effect down the road.
