I have a 2003 Ford Explorer XLT with I believe the 4.0 motor in it. From my understanding there is two timing belts in this motor. I have a blown timing belt and am probably going to be needing a new motor for it. My question is can an older 4.0 motor with a SOHC instead of the DOHC work in this application? Thanks in advance.
