So lately I've noticed my Ex sucking gas.... I wasn't quite sure the MPGs it was getting, but I knew A tank a week for going to work and back was too much ( I work about 3 miles one way.) So i decided to replace:
Fuel filter
Clean Air Filter, using K&N
Coil
Wires
Plugs
Ckd tire pressure/ stock tire size
ran seafoam in oil and changed oil 5/30 mobil

on the previous tank I ran Seafoam through gas tank.

Filled up the tank and ran this week, I got an astounding 9 MPG!

now I have 103k on it, it has a 4.0l/V6 and 4WD but I figured I used to get around 14/16 MPG does anyone have any suggestions? I drove VERY conservatively to 9MPG....not good

If you're using an E85 fuel (Ethanol added) then it's quite common to get the low mileage you're referring to. In the winter time, stations tend to add more Ethanol than not.

Try to find a station that does not use E85...there are sites that list them by state. Fill up your tank with a non-ethanol added fuel, and compare.

I think you're just getting the wrong fuel....and nothing else.

I get no more than 10MPG when I fill up on E85, and about 14MPG when I use the 100% pure gas. Even the window sticker with the EPA mileage states exactly what I just said, giving about a 3-4MPG drop for E85 fuel.
