Hey folks,
The last MPG survey was quite arbitrary. Not nearly enough information was provided by most users to make rational assessments of actual comparisons of vehicle MPGs.
So for this MPG survey, PLEASE state the following options on your Explorer.
The last MPG survey was quite arbitrary. Not nearly enough information was provided by most users to make rational assessments of actual comparisons of vehicle MPGs.
So for this MPG survey, PLEASE state the following options on your Explorer.
- - Engine type (4.0L OHV, 4.0L SOHC or 5.0L)
- - Transmission type (4sp Auto, 5sp Auto or 5sp Manual)
- - Gear Ratio (ie.. 3.08s, 3.27s, 3.55s,3.73s or 4.10s)
- - Tire Size Diameter (in inches)
- - Speedometer Corrected after gear of tire size changed ??(N/A ,YES or NO)
- - Driveline type (2 OR 4 Wheel Drive)

...and finally please list Mods that you have done that directly effect MPG only (MAF, TB, headers, Chips, Lift kits etc...)
Please refrain from additional commentary (at this time) so it will be easier for members to make comparions.
