Muffler emissions question

So I live in canada and have to have my 99 ex emissions tested every 2 years. If i install a cherrybomb glasspack muffler or any other high performance muffler will that affect the emissions output for my test?

No, the muffler effects emissions in no way, only the cats do.

As long as the test is strictly emissions then your ok. But if its a full inspection you might want to look into whether they require a certain decibel level also.

nah, never had trouble with decibel levels, they dont really check for that here. Had my 87 s10 with a bored out 350, just a single cat on each pipe and it passed fine.

Then you should be just fine changing your muffler.
