i just got a bunch of stuff in today, one of the things is a multi battery relay. Its a fairly simple install, (connect ignition, ground, and batteries) but i dont know what wires to connect for the main battery. since there is 2 wires that go to the main battery which ones do i connect/ how.

battery relay? sounds sketch

unless its a very hi amperage continuous duty solenoid, i wouldnt even htink of trying to run 2 batteries together using any type of relay... unless running dedicated power systems or an isolator or something of that sort

its an isolator 200 amp. the stinger sr200 (please tell me it will work)

I got to thinking, how exactly do these generally work. Is it when the car starts, they are connected and stay connected to charge, and then when the car is off they are sepparate?

I think if i hooked both red wires to the isolator then a wire from the same poll to the main battery, would this work?

another thing, where can i find a "true ignition source" one that is on when in the on position, and is on when in start, (doesnt cut out when cranking the engine)
