Mustang wheels!???? Need help

If I were to buy a set of wheels from a Mustang would I have any fitment problems? Would I have to buy spacers or whatever? May be able to get me a set of 18" Saleen replica wheels for CHEAP.....almost too cheap

also......is 245/40/18 the correct tire size for 18's to keep the speedo as close as it was?

Mo.

MAKE

UP

YOUR

DAMN

MIND.

-Your friends at the explorerforum :D

if you were on the 50 yard line with the football.....and a 400 lb line backer was running at you full speed from the offroad goal, would you run to the offroad goal or the streeter goal? :D

just kidding......but do you really think i could pass up a deal where i could get 18" saleen replicas for probably under 300 including tires..with only 8000 miles on them?

Buy the wheels, sell them for profit, then lift it.
Or buy just the wheels and still lift it with big tires.
Best of both worlds.:D

Are they hot? People get pissed when their wheels are stolen.

not unless the dude stole the car too!

dont want to lift it with big wheels. lowdpypes already did that!

But Lowdpypes has street tires not off-road tires. You would be a first with 18's and 33's or 35's. That could get expensive though.

I like Tex's idea. Remember TruckMagics ride with 18" Cobra Rs and 35s?

very expensive.....but who in the world makes some 33 x 12.5 for 18" wheels? lol

Did you see that post by Matt with the Excursion that had 20s on it with 48" tires?? I'll find you some 33's for 18" wheels. Hold on.

they'd probably cost me 800$, i have 1100 or so to spend..... 300 + 800 = 1100, cant fit 33's without a lift :)

But check these out:

Nitto Terra Grapler
285/60R/18 = 33.4"

Nitto has some new all-terrain tires out specially made for bigger rims. Im sure other makers have them also. I do remember that sport trac on cobras, it was awesome.

Edit: Damnit Section, you beat me to it.

Nitto's......I'm sure those are in my price range!

Damn you Mo. What kind of attitude is that? What's this thread about again? Oh yeah. Stang wheels...

hey, they'll fit. i just ordered saleen replica wheels myself (i thought you knew this) if they dn't fit i'll let you know for sure

just fyi- my package with white 18 by 9s and the upgrade to 18 by 10 in the rear with nitto 404s is only going to cost a little more than what you have to spend. look into your options. i htink the black saleen rims would look sweet on your truck

did you get the silver or chrome? the ones i am looking at are the 18x9, chrome, with nitto 555's and 8000 on the tires

i dont think the black ones would look right on my truck....section can chime in any time with a photoshop with the black ones on my truck....i think they'd clash with the gray trim but thats my opinion unless i see it

EDIT: sorry, im stupid and tired, now i see you got white ones......

dude, mine are white. i'm getting the 404s and in 255/55/18 up front and 285/50/18 out back

man, just make up your mind, here I got a propositon for ya, I have a set of american racing atlas wheels, with 31 inch perelli scorpion ATs, and if you buy those saleens wheels, I trade those wheels, and my warrior shackles for those saleens, and I might even think about throwing in a sarfari bar, in there..not to sure yet..
