2001 Sport Trac RWD
Picked up an '01 Sport Trac Base RWD that needs a bit of attention. ~240k on the body; engine supposedly rebuilt at 120k.

Previous owner was driving on interstate when front wheel bearing grenaded. He kept on driving  In process of replacing steering knuckle/spindle, bearings, etc

Interior was a mess so I completely stripped it down to the floor pad. Scrubbed the rubber floor and reinstalled.

Seats are next on the agenda - mainly need a good cleaning. Driver seat base is broken so swapping the base with one I had from my Ranger.

Also removed various stickers from the rear window, tailgate, door posts and body sides.
Looking forward to getting it all back together and driving it. Bought it to replace my '94 Ranger Splash.View attachment 324011

Love me a sport trac! That is my next build a 01 trac I have been hanging onto

Well done so far! Those 2wd wheel bearings are not too expensive or difficult to replace

Looking forward to seeing more, thanks for sharing!

Any SOHC engine that comes to my shop with 240K on it, I would be listening for any timing chain noise at cold start
Ford says to change the hydraulic tensioners at 90-120K, use Ford parts ONLY
