my '01 sport

OK, I have a '01 ex sport, and I was wondering if I can lower my truck about an 1 1/2" inches without putting on any sort of different rims or tire sizes? are my rims going to rub on the wheel well? and does somebody know a place where I can find a step by step on the torsion twist? I also heard that the rear on the sport doesn't need a drop? how does that work? Any help would be apreciated.

im sure that someone from this site will answer your questions, but www.explorerexpress.com makes the lowering kit that many people around here use. if you go there and click on "common questions" on the left, they talk about how their lowering kits work. hope this helps.

i think you'll be ok with factory rims and a 1 1/2" drop.
if you can drop an x and still put 20's on it, then 15s or 16s will be fine. if anyone knows differently then they'll post it.
