My 2000 X EB is falling apart all at once!!!

I have a 2000 EB that has 130K miles on it and is starting to basically fall apart. Its down right embarrassing. I live in a pretty good climate and I keep my X in good shape. I realize that this is a 10 year old car but this is absurd to happen all at once.

Just recently the center console lid came loose so I took it apart and found that the center orange plastic piece was in about 20 pieces. No Ebay rebuilding there. An ideas on where to get a new one? Junk Yard?

Next day I noticed that my power door lock mechanism wasn't quite strong enough to unlock my drivers side door. Strange thing tho is that the key was worthless too. It went in be would not budge either way. One day was so bad that I actually had to get in the passanger side and climb over the center console to drive home. Well, even after a few shots of lubricant in through the side, the interior door handle broke. Damn thing just pulled right out of the door. Have no idea what the problem is/was as this door always opened easy and I never experience problems. Is this a major issue and who fixes things like this? Auto body shop? Upholstery shop? I don't get it.

Lastly, naturally my driver seat is a bit worn but I could deal with that. Yesterday I got in my X and forgot my keys were in my pocket. While still in the car I stretched my leg for ward and leaned back, putting some pressure backwards on the recline hinge and it just gave way!!! Now nothing holds it in place. All the power functions but the tilt is broken. Is this fixable or do I need a new seat?

What color is your console lid, I may have a replacement for you with the center section...

The lock mechanism sounds like the lock actuator. When that's bad you can't turn the key either. You can get a new one on rockauto.com, or at the junkyard.

Same with door handles, they're easy to replace, you might drill a rivet out, but then you can replace it with a screw.

The seat latch breaks, you can replace it with a junkyard one, or they have replacements online. It's 4 bolts to replace, just lift the fabric/leather on the seat sides to get to them.

All those things happened to my 1998. I would have thought Ford would have fixed those problems by 2000.

Despite the PITA, my Mounty is very cheap to fix compared to my Asian vehicles.
