2002 Ranger
Hello
I am new to this forum and I really need some help!I have a 2002 Ranger that just suddenly would not crank.Ran fine, then nothing.Turning the ignition on I get nothing, lights, instuments and radio all work fine.Tried jumping off, charged battery nothing.Jumped screwdriver across solenoid it spins the starter and turns the motor over but still wont crank.Replaced ignition switch no good.I have ran out of ideas.Looking for some expert advice what to do or look for next. Thanks for any help.

Does your ignition key have the chip in it? Mine went out and did the same thing you are describing. Had to get a new key programed from ford

Check your crank position sensor, this control the ignition and majority of time it either have loose connection or it is covered with oil. It is located right onto the front of the engine where the crank is at below the fan.

Have you checked your fuel pressure?
