my 94 xlt junkyard dodger

well ive had my truck a little over a year and decided i should start a thread on it well i payed $500 for it it had a bad tranny but pick and pull fixed that

here it is when i bought it wel the auto hubs were shot so i swapped in a set of manuals to fix that and the shift motor was shot so another trip to pick and pull got it for the cost of a winshield wiper motor it had a open rear end with a 3.27 gear well it is still a 3.27 (dont ask me how i have not killed my trans) but now its got a lsd that was going to go into a mustang till i bought it from them now the back locks down great front end is still open for now the intake tube was destroyed it turns out one of those is almost $200 for a new one so i made one out of pvc i leant how to do on here works great i learnt the hard way about the intake location

i tore into the top end to replace all the top end gaskets i just remembered i also had to put in a fuel pump from pick and pull now the truck is running on a set of 31 12.5 15 boggers 2.5 lift on the front 2 on the rear and the truck refuses to get stuck now i have built a old school 302 for it im going to drop in some time this year probably after i take it to trucks gone wild in march here are some more pics ill keep updating as i do things

Look at that good ol 302. I assume you saw the thread by a member who posted his carb'ed 302 powered Explorer recently? It was in a purple 1st gen Sport on 16" wheels and metric size tires. He had to do a bodylift to clear the breather/carb etc. and did a full frame-off resto.

I like your springs. I was going to say, paint them electric blue, and you're pretty close.

thank you @Rhett i was thinking cowl induction hood for the clearance problems

well a little update on the dodger i went for a little test drive in a place i should not of been so it was slow with no lights well on my way home i was going slow messing with the 4x4 button and i suddenly hear a clang and something bouncing down the road now remember i got no tag and ive already seen cops out tonight well i pul off and start checking things out and my dang shock bolt on the front left shock on the bottom done came loose and fell out i about had a heart attack when i heard it hit the ground it was no where to be found so now i got to go find another one

well guys here is another update i noticed i was leaking ger oil from the front diff so i tore into the driver side today and man it was not fun was not bad but not fun the spindle bolts were not that bad with 4 foot cheater had fun getting the block from around the abs sensor then the fun part was getting the spindle off but i finally got it and found the problem the seal separated so im picking up a new spindle seal and axle seal tomorrow hopefully reassembly is just as smooth
