well as many people know I recently bought a Cobra 75 WXST for my F-150, and bought a seperate remote box so I could have it in both vehicles interchangably. I took some pictures, but didn't have my digital camera, so I'll have to wait until I used up the roll of film and get it developed.
Basically, as you know, the armrest sits atop a big metal bracket that has some space between the two brackets. Well suprise suprise, this spot is perfect for mounting this (just took a heck of a lot to get there). Was able to fish the antenna under the carpet into the console from the back, and fish the power wires under the carpet from the front so all the wiring is concealed neatly under the carpet. With where the box is mounted, the cable to the handset comes out near the back of the console which is great gor running the mic to conveniently.
Took about 3-4 hours to do it all which included taking hte console apart, mounting the box, running the cables under the carpet, running electricity to the box, putting the console back together (which was stalled because I got it 90% back together and realized I had forgotten one screw so it all had to come apart again.
Hope to have the pics developed before too long!
