You can't clean injectors like that - the only way to service them is to put something in the fuel or run it strickly on a cleaner

Connect a fuel pressure gauge onto the fuel port to test the pressure. Do you hear the fuel pump prime for about 3 seconds when you turn the key to the accessory position? Does your check engine light illuminate when the key is in that position? Scan the computer to see if there are any stored codes.

i dont have a fuel pressure gauge i guess i can go buy one but there $45 and what would that acomplish what if it dont have preshure what would be the p[roblem and is it worth the 45$ or should i just tow my truck to a mecanic i lissened and i can hear it prime

i read a bunch of posts on this forum saying that they took em out and soaked them in miniralspirits or seafoam

heck if it wasent for the forums i wouldent have even tryed that i was so motivated tho and yeah it took me longer then expected to do evrything but i was allmost 92% shure it shoulda all worked cause i conected evrything how it was expect the plate thats next to the ICA censor i lost the 4 screws so i stuck 2 diferent screws to hold it in there temp but thats all ..

Thanx ill go buy one tomorrow at 7 pm PR time and test it out ill prob post around 8 :P check back then for updates ohh and i broke one of the clips from my fuel injector censor in the back left but its still held in place pretty good so i dont think that has anything to do with it once i get my new lower intake orings i ordered ill pickup a new sensor so it wont popout in the future

ok new game plan a mecanic is coming over to my house tomorow at 5 pm i dont care anymnore what it costs as long as its fixed i love my explorer then once its fixed TURBO TIME FOR ME :p: lets see how fast i can break my piston  :p: in time in time All the posibilities then maybe nitro:p:

Reply back with what he finds please, I'm curious.

Just because you read howto do things on the internet doesn't mean its right/correct. Injectors are made in a way that just letting them sit in solvents won't do much except clean the tips of them (maybe?). Just my thoughts!

the mecanic came and he made me put the lower and upper intake back on basicly had to put it all back then he checked and he said i got no fuel preshure that my fuel pump is dead when i think thats imposible because all i did was take out the damn injectors and it worked fine before so anyone got any ideas??? hes supose to come back again tomorrow donno what imma do any help wouldbe greatfull :(

Yep, thats how my fuel pump went. Was running fine one minute and the next... nothing!

but like it just so hapens to go out when i start messing with my fuelk injectors?? owell i gues sill wait till tomorrow and see what hapends Oh and im already saving up to start worlking on a turbo project once i get my truck working so if i have to change the fuel pump ill get a Walbro 255 pump with a FMU recomended by justin146 :salute:

good news my trucks running even tho its running a lil messedup but it finally moves the fuel pump was tested its good the trotle was ajusted and now it turns on but my rev stays betwen 2 and 3 when idle is that where its supose to be? besides that the mechanic said my engine is sucking up air somewhere its not supose to be anyway ill keep you all updates with whatever ells i find out where still checking it right now as im typing this message

I agree with your mechanic. Sounds like you have a vaccum leak.

ok well here is the update i changed afewsensors that broke and now i drove the car around the corner and it left a trail of colant so i turned of the engine and checked what was up and it started making a loud knocjing noise like from the radiator i think the water is boiling what would cause it to get that hot maybe thats why my EGR preshure sensor broke cause it was overheating
