I AM QUITE HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!! </CAPSOFF>

I just got my first picture up because my dad finally brought home his digital camera from work (he doesn't even use it really). It's an extremely BAD pic and the truck is VERY dirty, but it will do for now. I have taken some more that I will post later (engine bay, ****pit at night/day, headlights, different angles, etc), but I had to get to work. So today probably after 6pm EST at some time I'll put up others, but for now this will have to do. Tell my what you think guys!

very nice. what type of break lights are those. very white!

<punchself>

Doh...That's actually a really bad reflection from the digital camera's flash......I promise next time it will be a MUCH better picture(s). Thanks for the comment though!!

Anybody else have any input? I know it's not much and you can't even see the inside, but I'll post a few pics I took later today. Let me know what you think guys...

got any gagets in side?

nice X. I can't wait to see your Cobra R's on there. The only thing more I would do is ditch the roofrack.

G

DOH!!! Forgot to mention that it was also coming off....thanks for reminding me. The roof-rack is history. Thanks for the compliment though. :)

Just FYI too, they're not just Cobra Rs like this.......

They're 2000 Cobra Rs.....like this....

IMO, they look a lot nicer and I don't think I've seen a single other explorer with them so they're original too. :)

Let me know what you guys think about my rig and stuff.....

SWEEET!!! those are beautiful rims. they will sure set off your explorer. It's going to be one phat X when it is done...

G

Yeah I was also thinking about those rims but, they are for later in my plan when I get more money. I like the silver coated but the crome is tight as hell also. Either way though sean, it would look really good on yours... God knows we need more street explorers out there.

nice x, you should try to put air bag suspension on there. There is a guy in my car club that is putting bags on his x.

This might sound stupid but what is an air bag suspension. Like whats the difference between regular suspension.

Air bags are a suspension trick to be able to lower the car as much as possible (mostly while parked) and then make it a little bit higher when necessary. They require air compressors and are similar (though not mechanically) to hydraulics.

And I don't want bags on my Ex because I don't plan to have it that low. Just a slightly lowered (3"/3") stance for handling/asthetic purposes. Also, I linked the chrome version of the wheel only because it had better quality than the silver 2000 Cobra R picture. I personally think chrome is a little to flashy and as I am looking for a refined, yet sport they will not be on my truck. I'm getting the silver version, which when properly cleaned/polished, should be quite brilliant and resist snow a little bit better than chrome too.

Thanks a lot for the comments, though. You are all being very encouraging.

Anybody else got some input/comments????

Yeah I hear you, the chrome is alittle to bling blingish, but you gotta admit in a lto of cases it lookes really good on an X. The silver ones are tight also, check out Das Frem's sport, its sweet.

air bag can be rased and lowed by a touch of a botton. like you could be 1 inch fron the ground and if there a speed bump up ahead you can puch the button and raise the car to 4 inches to get over it w/o scratching the bottom of the car.

BTW did you seed Monster grage? if you did, in one of the shows a guy had a truck on it and when he got out it lowered and almost hitting the ground. he's the guy that invented air bag suspension.

some tractor trailer trucks have air bag suspension.

Hopefully with the newly lowered stance, I'll be able to "HANDLE" the situation if an obstruction is in the road............................................Get it...Handle?.....Shut up, it was funny....:p

Just not a big fan of air bag suspensions....

I can't wait to put the rims/tires on and lower the truck. It's gonna look sweet especially once I finish my 2 day detailing job. I will have before/after pics....

Don

No no no guys....they ARE clears. My comment was in reference to Digger saying "very nice. what type of break lights are those. very white!"

I don't have any white lights in the rear of my vehicle. The flash made one of the white reflectors look really bright white. As I said, a bad reflection.

Anyways, the clear corners/tails were from autosyndicate.com (not sure if they're still around). I love them. They have very clean looking housings and have NEVER had condensation inside them. I highly recommend them.

PS: I put more pics up on the site. Check em out, though they're kinda not in any particular order. Click my sig!
