My first system

Well here it is...after hours of struggling with the wiring kit and my shotty HU mounting (Thanks Jimmy's car stereo :fire: ) I got it hooked up last night. It is a Kicker comp 15 mounted inverted in a ported box. I was told that it hit harder inverted so I said "ok." I dont really know anything about the amp I got it for practically free. This is really just a starter kit. I am working on a custom box for two Kicker comp VR-12s. This entire system right now cost me $90

did a little searching and it is a Bazooka EL260. Since it is bridged its pushing like 190 watts. Which is plenty for that sub.

Make sure to secure that thing down in the back. In case of an accident, it could become an airborne missle and kill ya. Don't let it just sit back there for easy removal.

190 watts isnt plenty =) when u add more power it will really livin up for u

i run 2 kicker comp VRs off of a RF 800@2 pushing somehting close to 1krms a sub

it was a night and day difference from like 200-250 rms to near 1k lol

Its plenty for my needs. This subs power range is 65-250 watts RMS. And 500 peak. I could put out a little more but not too concerned since I dont plan on keeping this sub very long. Money is being saved for new system.
This system is really just a big taste test...I liked so I am going back for more.

oh thats right u dont have the CVR..still though not a bad sub

I dont know what amp I will get when I have the two vr12s but I will get a much better one. Depends on what my hook-up can get me.
