My latest UPDATE on my Explorer

here's the sorta finished product.... I also finished my cowl hood

I wish I still had those 35's, I hate the 33's I have now... bfg at's, don't like'em at all.

And the cowl doesn't get in the line of sight to badly>.
The huge truck in the background is my younger brother's new ride... just picked it up a week ago, 1995 Ford F350 7.3 powerstroke 275K mi., brand new turbo, injectors, transmission, bought it for $6,500... 6" skyjacker lift, 37" DC mud country's and 18" DC-1 rims...

Where did you get the cowl hood scoop?

I bought the fiberglass cowl itself from a friend... and the steel hood from craigslist... I'm sure you can get a similar cowl from summit or somewhere...

ohh.. and I never explained how the final paint on the hood will look... I'm planning on paint the whole hood white... then on just the sides of the actually cowl will be the grey/silver of my trim, with orange 4.0 badges/stickers on the edge of the cowl.

I dont think that plate bumpers look too good on smaller trucks. They're more at home on a big F-350s or FS Broncos. BUT I think yours turned out nice. I like it.

Awsome looking bumper but sticks out a little more then i perfer. But thats very close to the type of bumper i want to build for my truck.
