very nice! You watching extreme 4x4? hehehe

Okay, here is question for all you guys with an HDTV. I have Comcast and will be getting the HD tuning next week.

How do you guys have it hooked up to the tv from the cable box. Do you use HDMI or Component? I know HDMI is better but is it really all that much better to justify the extra expense?

my TV picks up interference from some devices with component cables, but works flawlessly with DVI.

Thats good to know, too bad my TV doesn't have a DVI input. It's got everything else though.

HDMI=DVI+audio, meaning the signal in the HDMI is the same as a DVI plus digital audio signal.

Okay sorry to bring this thread back up but I still got a question. All of you out there that have an HDTV I need your opinion.

I finally got my HD tuning and it is currently hooked up with component cables. I know that it would look better if I get HDMI cables.

So is the picture all that much better with HDMI versus component cables to justify spending $100 for a cable?
