Just got some new tires and actually have a few bucks left over... around $180 give or take. A few options ive toyed with are:

- 3" PA body lift
- (4) rock crawler wheels
- (4) 6" chrome spotlights (for the roof)
- aal and alignment for front (have spacers but not installed yet)
- billet grill, clear corners, white faced gauges
- grill guard
- 12" sub and amp
- hi-lift jack and more tow hooks
- roof rack
- nothing! save your money for... (insert idea ;) )

so those are some things im thinking about... any ideas? and yes i know.. im gonna have to make the choice.. but i was hoping for some input on what you would do next... thanks again for all the information all of you have given me!!! on a side note... this site rocks!!!! whenever im not in school, at work, or workin on my ex. im here!!! thanks to all of you who make this site what it is today!!!

What tires did you get? I'm guessing 31's since you don't have any lift yet. Get shackles, do the spacers, then get clear corners and tow hooks. A combination of a few options.

i just put on some 31" Maxxis Buckshot Mudders. i have a thread in the *tires and wheels* forum on them. i have shackles. i bought the autozone ones and welded in a 1 inch crossmember like the warrior ones to beef them up a bit then painted them gloss red. they are great and only cost $15 total. i have the spacers, but im not sure about putting them on because of the $200 alignment quotes ive been getting... i have a thread on that issue too in the lift/suspension forum. annnnyways... more input is always welcome! thanks!!!!

200 bucks?!?!?! That is pure BS. Go somewhere else, it should be around $40 or 50. Buy camber shims from RockAuto.com then have the shop put them in and align.

Buy the 2.5's. They should be able to get it very close with those shims.

I guess you could, they don't look very hard. I just had the shop put in mine cause it was cheap and they were doing the alignment anyway.

heck you could get an exhaust with 180 dollars just a suggestion

ive kinda been thinking about... body lift, (2) 6inch lights for the roof, and tow hooks for the rear. ooooor... body lift, frame mounted hitch, and 2" tow hook attachment. just some thoughts... opinions???? thanks again!!!

If you get a hitch, then you won't need any attachments. You can pull right from the receiver. If you do a body lift, the hitch will hang down really low and look bad.

You can get the hitch and body lift and have a machine/ custom shop relocate th mounts for the hitch (move them upwards on the frame and mount) and thus making it look more flush with the rest of the body. but then again..thats more $$ right there...i would just save it until you have about a grand....then do them all :D

oh yea...one more thing, the day you can find a 12 inch sub and amp (and wiring, install etc) for $180....hell will freeze over. Sorry, but that aint happening. Audio will rip right through your bank account...

You can put in a cheap 12" sub/amp combo yourself for $180 or less.

im talking something that is actually worth your time (not one of those 30 dollar subs and a 50 dollar amp). Ive just always believed you get what you pay for. I installed all of my system, by myself, and yes its the way to go... but it will still cost you a pretty penny to do it right the first time. which is always the way to go IMHO. but yes i guess you are right that you COULD get a sub amp combo for 180, but not one that he would be happy with most likely. But yes i guess you are right ;)

im sorry i mislead you all... i had the factory premium sound option with jbl's all around. my 94 came with a cd player but i replaced it because it didnt work right when i bought it. I installed a JVC deck that rocks. with the jbl option is included a factory sub and amp. i like the sub because it doesnt get in the way.. but its not rated to handle too much power. All i would buy would be a nice 12" sub for now... and use the factory jbl sub amp. the amp provides plenty of power and is nice because i wouldnt need to worry about mounting a new amp. I carry a lot of cargo from band gear, to recovery gear... and all i want is a 12" sub and box that i can take in and out when im not hauling stuff. i figure $180 would get me a darn nice sub. and for the box, id make that myself. sorry to mislead... any more thoughts???
