I need help,my explorer has the check engine light on and I have the Flowmaster 40 but it's not on.Not sure the size for the Y pipe from the 2 Cats.

The diagnostic codes I got when I went to Auto Zone are P0174 and P0171.

Check the intake manifold gaskets.

yup. replace the intake gaskets, and get the lean codes to quit popping up, then worry about the muffler.
