As it stated, this was put a few years ago.. nothing new.. and nothing is stolen proof.. there will always be something out there to steal cars.

If you're truly concerned, the best thing you can do is to put your keyfob in a faraday cage bag to prevent the key's signal from leaking out. They can't grab a signal that isn't exposed.
For me, that's just a bridge too far. But it's an option until the technology catches up to the hack.
