mystery wire behind plenum..whats it go to?

ok i dont have a pic i wished i did but theres a tiny wire coming off the main harness i tthink..its right behind the plenum comes of the other wires making it like 3 inches i just cant find out were it goes?it looks like it plugs on a sending unit or something its more towards the passenger side ..also got it crunk today an i got no spark on # 2 (1st coil or injector on drivers side) tried switching coils an plugs around but staying in the same spot i havent tried to change injector any ideas on that to?

Does the wire have plug on the end of it? If it does it has to go somewhere... Regardless it's only long enough to go where it needs to. Just move it around and see where it will reach to.
 






yea its only about 3 inches an it looks as if it would plug to a sending unit..like down on a tiny stud just caps over it

If it is only 3 inches long then it has to plug into something 3 inches away. Problem solved.
 






ok never found were it goes an i have a bad noise going on one mechanic said sounded like torque converter is shot i hear something coming from passenger side sounds like a disel lol it runs rough no codes but a po174 to lean on bank 2 it runs for a min the shuts off i can unplug every coil pack on passenger side an it doesent affect it i can unplug one on driverside an it dies down an almost shuts off(like it should) when i rev the motor hold it at 2k rpm the noise dosent follow..its like a clacking noise it sounds like a diesel to me could that little wire have an affect on all this?

Doubtful. Take a few pictures of it so we know what you're talking about.
