Nate's 2005 Explorer XLT 4X4

Here's my X, so far, but first a little background story...

So this Jeep is what I was going to buy. I was a few thousand short of it. :( It was fully loaded. Exhaust, Intake, Lift, Wheels, Fuzzy Back Seat :D (J/K). I failed on that then looked at a sport trac and ended up with this Tan Explorer. She's come a long way in just 5 or 6 months of owning her. So...
Its a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT with 4wd. I bought it on Friday July 9th, 2010. It had 60K miles when I purchased it. It now has 67K. So far I love having it. Gas mileage isn't so great, but I knew that when I purchased it. I have modded it up so check it out. Enjoy! :)

Day I bought it,

EDIT: Update! :)
A couple months later, and here she is...

Definitely a unique mounting point mate!

Only place to mount it on the truck. If I had my bull bar I'd mount it there.

EDIT: I talked to the guy at my local off road shop (fat bob's garage) in ogden. They said they will make me a set of custom fitted rock sliders :D

Sweet as!!!! I've seen fat bob advertise stuff on ebay and wondered if you'd been in there being from Ogden an' all.

Of course I have. lol. They're going to be doing a lot of stuff for my Ex. They'll do the re-gear, rock sliders, lift install (cuz im lazy :p:) and a list of other stuff.

Hmm...don't know if I should do a lift. I want the clearance but I remember what xplorerguru said about how his UCA kept hitting into the coil... Don't know if I want that.

I would get those arms eventually, but I couldnt afford that price for a long time  The city doesnt pay me that much. lol :p:

Would have to just do spacers for now and next year get arms.

Alright. Do you have a pic of your ball joint angle on flat ground? Just want to put little stress on those ball joints until I can get uniballs.

4 weeks to go until I can have my ex halfway done. :)

Sweet mate, halfway to the halfway point. Must be 1/4 time!!!:D:thumbsup:

I've been to the halfway point once before. Then locals copied me... Now they could, but it would be difficult.

Alright so my next mod: 70mm BBK Throttle Body. Not enough ponies from this engine...

Nice, let us know how it turn's out. I've heard some good thing's about this mod.

Reading the reviews on this TB, some say it feels like it gives more than 10hp, but we'll see what it can do for the Explorer.

I'll throw these shots up here also
