Need a tranny 94 explorer Auto 4X4

Hey, got a 94 Explorer...need a tranny for it, ready to swap in to my truck. 4x4 automatic...I have 111k on my clock...What do you got... I am in New England...better yet i am in Mass. Help before it dies.. lol

If I were you, I would start by checking the local junkyards for an A4LD transmission from a '91-'94 4WD Explorer if you want to take your chances, or your local tranny shops. Sometimes you can find one that keeps them on hand. I know that there is one here that sells rebuilt A4LDs for $850. Maybe you'll get lucky and find a better deal than that. Good luck!

Try posting this request in the wanted section. Look through the parts for sale section. They appear all of the time from other members. I saw one going for about $400 a couple of months ago. You could rebuild your old one, and use it as a spare.
