i just bought a 94xlt how far can i take this motor horsepower wise? has anybody else put a t3/4 turbo in yet. i need to find out what it would cost to get 300+hp. does anyone have over 300hp i want to see what they did. thanks for any help peace!!!!!

it is possible to get that much hp, but the turbo isnt a good idae.... that is going to cost way more $ than its worth... any mods to the already weak 160 hp 4.0l is going to be expensve... you are looking at trying to double the engine's horsepower..... you will need a s/c, stand alone fuel management system, custom copmuter programs, and an engine rebuild with hi performance internals.... not to mention that the tranny wont stand up to 300 hp for very long..... do a v8/aod swap.... or go out and by a mustang for speed......
