need help asap

ok so i have a 91 eb explorer, and when i put it in 4 wheel drive it makes a popping noise on the driver side, they are auto hubs, i was wandering what would cause that, and could it maybe be since my driver side wheel has a major camber problem, like the pass side is perfect but the driver side is leaning real bad, which is making me think it could be the ujoints binding. the wheel looks like it could be cause by a badly warn spring, any help would be nice thanks

u-joint binding, or a bad wheel bearing?
A really bad wheel bearing could cause a camber issue, but you might also want to check your ball joints.
