I have read my manual but I can't figure this thing out. It tells me to press some reset button I do not have.

The reset button it shows which looks to be located to the right of my radio, it just a blank piece of trim to fill the hole where the buttons should be.

How do those of us without these buttons get our compasses into programing mode?

My Compass tells me I'm going north when I'm going west etc. It's all off.

Thanks!

the last time I had to reset mine was after replacing my battery, I also dont have the reset button you refer to. If I remember right you have to drive in a circle for a few minutes for it to reset the directions.

Well, that seems to be one of the steps but it looks like you have to put it into programing mode FIRST. I've tried everything, nothing works! :(

Sorry I wasn't more clear, when I had to replace my battery, it was out of the vehicle for over an hour, so the computer lost all memory and had to relearn everything. Kinda like when you disconnect to reset a check engine light. Hope it helps because that is the only time I had to reset mine.
