Need help ... fluid specs for 00 limited 5.0 awd

:navajo: hello i have a 2000 limited 5.0 awd with 116.000 and i was wondering how much oil do i put in the front and rear diff. im going to use amsoil 75w-90 severe gear. and also would i need any friction modifier???... thanx

My Haynes manual lists the capacities as:
Front differential=3.5 pints
Rear differential=5.5 to 5.8 pints

You didn't state whether or not you have a limited slip. But you only need the friction modifier with a limited slip. Also I think Amsoil already has the friction modifier added, but double check.

thanx for the reply...Im not sure if its limited slip all i know is that its all time all wheel drive.. also before i forget how much fluid do i put in the trany and tansfercase ?

Transfer case=1.3 quarts
Transmission (drain and refill)=5 quarts
