Hi all,

First, I did try a search and found nothing. I've heard of a yellow flasher relay under the dash near the steering column - but those were for older Explorers.

I tore apart the dash and instrument panel. I traced the clicking sound to a round metal plastic covered thing on the back of the instrument PCB. However, the thing is SOLDERED on. I assume this thing is just the "clicker" and that the actual relay is somewhere else. I looked all around under the dash and couldn't find anything.

Has anyone here actually located the dang flasher relay and/or have a part number for either an 06 or 07 (I have both XLTs)?

I want to go to LEDs but this is driving me crazy. Please help if you can. Thanks.

The is no flasher relay on the 4th gens it is part of the smart junction box.
