2004 Explorer Sport Trac
Hello all, I have a 2004 Sport Trac Adrenalin series. It came with the factory installed Pioneer radio system with subwolfer behind the rear seat. I am wanting to put a new radio unit in it so I will be able to play music through my phone Aux, bluetooth isnt a requirement, but some of the ones im looking at have it.

I guess my question is for all of them (specifically my top pick) would they fit without modification and new wires, or would I need an adapter kit, and if so, which one? Thanks so much, audio newbie here

Ive narrowed it down to three, and amazon and crutchfield both say they fit, but I wanted to double check here.

Alright, thanks for the help, Im gonna see if I can find any of the items on amazon as I have a prime account and would save on shipping!

Make sure you compare the total package with Crutchfield. Depending on price, many units include the bracket, wiring kit and vehicle-specific instructions.

Also, the double DIN radios require that you trim the radio opening. Not sure on the single DIN units.

Looks like a winner. Keep us in the loop on installation.
