This is for a 2002 Nissan S/C Frontier.

Today I plugged in my scangauge and I got a code "P0328" which is a
"P0328 Knock Sensor 1 Circuit High Input"

What does this mean? I searched for Knock Sensor and didnt find much of anything about it.

Truck is still under Warrenty.

Thanks.

The knock sensor basically senses knock. Have you filled it up recently? Did you put a higher octane gas in it? Anyway, knock is basicaly a ping. What the computer does is when testing the circuit it allows the engine to ping/knock so that the sensor can hear it and then say "ok I'm working, don't ping/knock anymore." Well yours must be sensing a lot of knock even after it's tested. I would take it to the dealer. Knock sensors are usually in weird places and in hard to find/reach places. Also, ping/knock is just preignition. A higher octane fuel will not allow the computer to make the engine knock because the higher octane is slower to burn. Oh, and the ping/knock that the sensor hears is far times higher frequency than we can hear.

Yea I always use 93 Octane cause that is what the truck manual tells me to use it for best preformance so I always fill up with 93 nothing less. Acouple months ago I ran some Seafoam through the gas but I doubt that had anything to do with it. Also no CEL was on I just plugged it in to see if it worked and blam a code. I will call my dealer tomorrow thanks.
