Need Help With Door Lock Please.

I purchased my first Explorer, a 2002 4dr Xls. I'm having a problem with the driver side door lock, It's the only door that has a keyed cylinder to unlock the door but the ignition key does't work it. It works fine in the ignition but not the door. I don't know if someone has replaced the ignition and it's the wrong key for the door or what. I was told to go to Advance Auto and buy a lock cylinder but when I took the old one out it looks nothing like the new one. I have uploaded pictures of the old cylinder. I have looked high and low on the web for one like it but no luck.Anybody that's been through this and can help and let me know what I need , I'd really appreciate it.

I just go to a locksmith and pay $12.50 to get any cylinder I have to match any key I want. In this case, I would tell him to make the ignition key work in the door lock.
