Hey, guys i was wanting to know what could be wrong with my 1997 Ford Explorer's 5.0 motor has AWD, also has flowmaster exhaust system its older.
The problem is when you start it up it idles fine, but if you put it in drive or reverse and start moving past 2000 rpms it starts misfire/backfiring real bad and it has no power no matter what your doing the fastest i got up to was 40.
I know that if you pull each wire off the spark box 1 at a time each has good spark coming from it. MAF seems to be ok if i start motor and then unplug MAF idle speeds up but stills misfires/backfires. Wires are in good shape.
