Need help with new tires...

This may be a rediculous question, but I bought my '99 EB Explorer a couple years ago with new BF Goodrich, Radial Long Trail TA's, and now the front 2 are really worn, so I know my alignment needs to be adjusted...right? But I need 2 new tires also. Is it OK if the 2 front and 2 back tires are of different section widths? Also, is it ok to put 2 BFG Rugged Trail TA's in the front and 2 Long Trail TA's in the back (this would only be temporary). Finally and most importantly, is $125/ea for 2 tires a competative price, and if not where to go?
