I have a feeling that Ford has given me the wrong spark plugs for my 99 SOHC.
The part # of the plugs they gave me and that I already installed are:
AGSF22FM F6
Stock number 6100?
Can anyone here please clarify if these are O.K. to use in my SOHC engine.
The reason I ask is that I refered back to the owners manual after I installed them and the part # is different... Also, I am now experiencing light backfire after heavy throtle in park. I also get a little suge at idle at red lights now.
Please help me clarify...It's my B-day!
Thanks!
Oh, I used electrical contact grease in the boots. May I have added to much? I applied about just enough to cover the ID of the boot hole at the very end.
