Alright. Youtube is down for a couple hours so I cant put up the vid of whats going on yet. Here my problem.......

The bolt that goes through the rear spring shackle bracket (which goes through the frame as well, pictured in the top right) is seized inside the metal sleave that is inside the bushing inside the shackle bracket. Now that I look at the diagram it looks like I have to drill out or remove the "rivet" in order to get the old shackle bracket out. Would this be what I have to do? Would the bracket just slide out by going through the frame? Seems like a very ridiculous design.

Your shackles actually look like that? It looks like a jeep design to me. All the explorer shackles I've seen don't have that bracket. The shackle just straddles the frame and there is a bushing in the frame. Weird.

There is definitely a bushing in the frame with a metal sleave in it. I dont know if it has that entire bracket in the frame though. With how hard ive tried to get those bushings/sleaves out without any results im guessing the bracket has to be there.

This is a diagram for an explorer.

I used a ball joint press on one and it came right out.

Just torched the hell out of the other one for about 5 minutes and I was able to pull it out with vice grips.

Thanks for the advice guys!
