'04 XLT V6
Hello All,
I've been searching through the forum and really cant pin point an answer. I have an 04 explorer xlt v6 with 92k miles. On the way home last night it sputtered a couple of times then died, it would not restart after that. Got it towed home and today i replaced the fuel filter, pump is still working ok, still will not restart, getting power to the coil pack but nothing going to the plugs...also i checked the inertia switch, i have a question about it...is it supposed to stay down when pressed because mine just pops back up...i'm lost....is there anything else that i could try before taking it to a shop....Thanks in advance......

The inertia switch shouldnt pop back up, it should stay down.

Thanks. How much is the inertia switch and the best place to get one?

i've checked the inertia switch and it is working ok.......would a bad crankshaft position sensor create the same problems?

Cancel all request.........I found the problem.....The crankshaft pulley has come undone. Argh!!!
