So now that you've had these on for a little while, have they performed as expected? I'd really like to get the brakes working on my camper....

Absolutely. They are OEM components. Same as what came on the trailer when it was new.

Glad you are happy with the new-found performance. But you compared Amazon's price for 4 assemblies ($150) to the dealer's price for 4 pairs of shoes ($100)? That's applies and oranges.
How about comparing Amazon's price for 4 assemblies ($150) to Amazon's price for shoes only. I saw an axle set of shoes on Amazon for $34, which would be $68 for all 4 wheels. If all you need is shoes, that's a lot of money to save.

Magnets are a wear item. after a half dozen cross country trips and 13 years of use it was time.

Not saying you did the wrong thing. Just contributing to this thread with fair price comparisons.
$50 per wheel is not a fair comparison for brake shoes, when they are available at your same source for the equivilent of $17 per wheel.

You're right. I was just so thrilled to see the entire shebang for $150 that's all that mattered to me ;)
