needle on volt meter twitching

The other day when i was sitting at a red light and waiting for it to change i noticed my volt meter needle twitching , but when i give it gas it stops . Is this normal or is this a problem??

ive seen some people on here that have that problem, i do too as well. i changed the battery and alternator and everything and it still does it...o well.

Try cleaning your terminals, that could do it.

first gen battery cables have a problem of getting eaten up from the inside out. so they can look fine. but really be corroded(sp?) on the inside.

I had this problem, its an easy fix, tho it took me longer than expected. Mainly because ford apperently loves to put cable holder is odd places.
