Have you tried grounding it with a jumper cable to a metal point on the engine/frame to see if that fixes the issue?

Peter

I did it didn’t fix it
In that case, it might not be a 'grounding' issue. Hopefully, a member will be able to help in determining where the negative cable is grounded.
Have you had the battery tested? Good luck.

If the ground is lose or bad shouldn’t it just not start in theory ? I gave ford a call they said the ground is attached to the battery harness

Yes, I believe so but you mentioned the problem is intermittent. There are several ground points as well in the Explorer for different systems.
Attempting to track down electrical gremlins can be quite a chore.

The thing I’m getting is check charging system “all the time “ but sometimes my lights go crazy and Bluetooth ac etc turn off and back on and then off and on lol

When the dash lights up like a Christmas tree, the cause to some reports here, was a bad or failing battery.
