This is my 4th Explorer, was looking at the Sport Trac, but the extra $2k min owner loyalty and incentives (0% for 72 months) moved me back to the Explorer.
2010 Black XLT, loaded, but has the sissy classs 2 hitch
got the light tan leather, need to get the rubber floor mats like I have in the NBX package on the 2003.
Had a '96 Sport, '01 Sport, '03 XLT/NBX, and now the '10 XLT.
Gotta say, the heater in the '10 blows away the heater in the '03. Heats up in 1.5 miles instead of 4. The heated seats are nice during our little snow and ice storm this week.
The new Sync system is fun, but somehting else to go wrong down the road I'm sure.
Wife has the fun car, the '11 5.0 mustang, but I am happy with my big ole SUV.

BTW, anyone know if the superchargers they make for the Ranger 4.0 will work with the new Explorer 4.0's?

Welcome to the forum! :wavey:

Nice Ex!

love the black, hides the dirt, but not the salt, as evidenced this past week

Seeing yours makes me want to wait until I can find a black one! That thing is sharp!

Congrats!

Well, just traded the 2010 Explorer XLT for a 2014 F150 XLT 4x4.
Love the extra power and the extra room.
If the Explorer had been a 4x4, I would probably have kept it.

As it is, we traded a Red Mustang and Black Explorer for a Black Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and a Red F150.

Welcome back, nice looking F-150. I would have kept the Mustang & passed on the Jeep.

She thought she would regret it, until she had to take the grandson to daycare one morning (I usually do it) and he was fighting it. She opened the back door, put him in the seat, shut the door, and said "oh hell yes" to herself. Ever tried putting a squonky 3 yer old in the back of a GT?
Plus, she runs obstacle races and has almost gotten stuck in the parking lots.

I must say, the power of the F150 Ecoboost is impressive, way more acelleration than the older Expl 4.6 I had.
