Hello Everyone,

Name is stephen and I'm glad to say that I just became a proud new owner this past sunday of a new explorer limited. I came into the dealership thinking of getting an XLT with mild options and a 35k out the door budget and came out with a loaded limited way over my price cap. But hey you only live once right?! I dont regret it and loving my car so far, only thing I regret is spending 5 hours at the dealership 2 days in a row. If you guys have any recomendations for a new owner I`d love to hear it, especially about tips of breaking in the, motor.

Congrats on the new Explorer, stephenmgd! I recommend spending some time checking out all of the free goodies on http://owner.ford.com - you can download copies of your Owner's Manual, get coupons for products/services, and even schedule maintenance appointments. Be sure to post pictures of your ride; I'd love to check 'em out!

Welcome to the Forum stephenmgd.:wavey:
There are a few threads you should probably read as the discussions on these, break in and oil, always seem to pop up on a thread like this.

Thanks guys! I've been so busy driving around that I have been able to get pics yet. I got a tuxedo black with charcoal black interior. 2nd black on black since my 2001 mustang. I'm planning a little photo session with domestic models this weekend...(kidding about the models....maybe, lol).
