Put a "new" axle under my brothers ranger to get lower gearing. Stuck with drum brakes to make the swap easier, however I can't seem to get them bled right. ~40 cycles on each rear brake and the pedal is still a little soft. Brakes grab hard but they could be better. Any ideas to fix this? Reused the old shoes/drums/hardware. Clean fluid is coming out. No ABS light.

Thanks

Did you bleed the front at well?

No, do you think that's neccasary? Brake line disconnected at the frame mount. And the brakes were very strong before hand

Yup. And in the right order. Passenger rear, driver rear, passenger front, driver front.
What year Ranger is it?

It's a 2000 supercab, what's the reason for the order?

Heh, I'm not sure exactly, but it has to do with the distance from the master cyl of each wheel.
