just put in a new blend door in my 07 XLT 4.0 manual temp controls, and I realized my heat isn't as hot as it use to be. It's auctually noticeably cooler, any ideas...thanks

Possible you place the unit in the wrong position?

When I did put it in I had to plug it in and "move the shaft" with the temp control knob so it would line up.

Check your coolant level. I wonder if your Explorer's coolant level is too low to generate the heat you're used to.

Coolant is a little low nothing crazy but with the old blend door I had it was hot as balls and now it's meh. I've also noticed that the temp gauge is resting a lot lower than it usually would, after my drive home tonight (45*F) the temp gauge went up to where it usually goes to and then after a while it dropped down to the 2nd line on the temp gauge. See link for picture of temp gauge. https://www.facebook.com/groups/43274374114/permalink/10155451000339115/
