new comer need help

hi, all guys, I am a new comer and I am happy to be a mamber of this forum. Now I need you help, I know this forum has many car eliters, I hope you can solve my problem. It is my ford explorer, its chec engine light on and recommeded to use this ford ids vcm v75, saying this is the best tool for ford, I have nothing experience of it, I need you share some information with me? Please help me. Thanks a lot...

You might want to post this in the stock 3rd gen forum (2002-2005). You'd get more responses there as it has more to do with mechanical than interior.
