I have a dell, my brother got a new powersupply and decided to use the back panel for the fan control. So, naturally i stole the front panel control (Silver) and used it on my dell. I hooked it up so it controls the cpu fan speed (this was lots of previous work).

Heres a pic, any dell dimension 8100 owners who are interested in this mod, contact me, ill tell ya all the steps.

His brother had a front fan controler but decided he wanted to have a fan controler in the rear of his computer.
So Brandons took his brothers FRONT fan controler and put it in HIS dell.

BTW: Looks nice Brandon!

What's the deal with ImageStation? I can see Brandons picture just fine, but others can't? Why? I've been told that some pictures I've linked from ImageStation have the same issue...

What did i do?

I took the 90mm fan for the cpu that came with the comp, soldered two wires onto the section for the temperature control switch (there was room for another connection on it). After that i hooked it up to the front fan control, and installed the fan control panel thing.. i had to use electrical tape to attach it to the Dell drive tray, since there wasnt the screw holes in the right place.

And thanks guys :D
