new engine!! NO START!!

ok i gotta 91 xlt 4.0 for $300.00, the engine has benn totally rebuilt, it has new rings, head gasket and powersteering pump and radiator as well as a ac computer($1500.00) ,it cranks over and will not start!! i thought it was the fuel pump but it was not that, the wires on the engines side of the fire wall have a signal but the wires inside the car dont!! anyone got any tips!!

Do you have spark?

Yeah... plug in the interior wiring. Check the connections at the underhood fuse box. Then make sure the ground from the engine to the firewall is attached. While you're at it check all the grounds.

Along with spark, do you have fuel pressure at the fuel rail?

You need to check: spark
check fuel pressure
then check for power at the injectors and engine sensors.

Its likely something simple..
