new first gen grille idea

i was looking through a magazine and i saw an 05 f 350. it had a billet grille, but just between the ridges. do you think that would look sweet if you somehow fabricated or bought a kit and just had billet in between the chrome ridges?

A pic may help here, because it hard to see what you are describing there. How do you combine billet and chrome?

you would need to cut the grille a little... If you sat down and gave yourself a day you could probably come up with something really clean though.

I would go the route of actually incorporating the stock grille onto the billet grille, as opposed to chopping the billet one to fit the stock one (if that makes sense).
